PROCEDURE FOR 2008 JUDGES
FINAL REVISION BY MFTHBA BOARD OF DIRECTOR
| 1. | If you presently hold a judges card that expires AFTER December 31, 2008: |
| a. You do nothing at this time, and: | |
| b. New procedures will be in place by the end of 2008 and you will then be informed. | |
| 2. | If you presently hold a judges card that expires BEFORE December 31, 2008: |
| a. Submit an Application for Judges Card, available on the MFTHBA web site, and in The Journal, and: | |
| a. Your card will be mailed to you. | |
| 3. | If you have held an MFTHBA judges card within the past 7 years, are a member in good standing, have not had your previous judges card revoked, and with to have a 2008 judges card: |
| a. Submit an Application for Judges Card, available on the MFTHBA web site, and in The Journal, and: | |
| b. Your card will be mailed to you. | |
| 4. | If you have never held an MFTHBA judges card, you must do the following: |
| a. Attend an MFTHBA judge's clinic/seminar, and; | |
| b. Take the MFTHBA judges test and score at least 85% , and; | |
| c. Complete three (3) apprenticeships. | |
| 5 | If you wish to be considered to judge the 2008 Three Year Old Futurity, you must: |
| a. Give written notice to the MFTHBA office in Ava, MO by March 1, 2008, of your desire to be considered a judge, and; | |
| b. Attend the MFTHBA judges clinic/seminar to be held on March 15 and 16, 2008 (details in The Journal), or; | |
| c. Attend the MFTHBA judges clinic/seminar to be held on April 12 and 13, 2008 (details in The Journal). | |
| 6. | If you wish to be considered to judge the 2008 Celebration, you must: |
| a. Give written notice to the MFTHBA office in Ava, MO by June 1, 2008, of your desire to be considered as a judge, and: | |
| b. Attend the MFTHBA judges clinic/seminar to be held on March 15 and 16, 2008 (details in The Journal), or; | |
| c. Attend the MFTHBA judges clinic/seminar to be held on April 12 and 13, 2008 (details in the Journal). |
