DQP’S

To All DQP’s of MFTHBA & DQP Coordinator

As we head into the new year the DQP area of our breed is very important. We must have creditable, honest, accountable and ethical people serving in our breed. All existing DQP’s wishing to re-certify will need to participate in the renewal training course. This will be held in the MFTHBA Hall of Fame at 9:00 am on Saturday morning, April 16, 2005. The USDA will be present at the MFTHBA training April 16-17, 2005. For those first time people wishing to become a certified DQP you will need to complete the required training for beginners. This may be done either at Shelbyville, TN, on February 25-26, 2005, at the Calsonic Arena, or at MFTHBA on April 16 (pm) and April 17 (am) at MFTHBA. First time people will also need to attend the Saturday morning class in the MFTHBA Hall of Fame at 9:00 am on April 16, 2005. No one will be certified until all training is completed. Those that complete the required training will then need to be approved by the board.
     There are members that have no intent to become a DQP but are interested in what is and is not acceptable. There will be a time scheduled by the DQP coordinator and office to have a question and answering session for those individuals.
     We are entering a year that is very important to this association and every one of you will have a part in making it a successful year. We have been in touch with the USDA and are in good standing as a caring HIO. We are working together to make all shows clean. We will be monitoring this area and hold people accountable. Please do your part in following the rules and regulations. Thank you for helping to make our Missouri Fox Trotting Horse shows all over the country successful.
